BREAKING NEWS - Site Updates

At long last, some of the many changes to the Knitters' World website are almost ready to go 'live'. This includes the ability to browse through our online shop.

Our online shop was met with a delay back in November of 2008 after a piece of programming called a 'variable' was altered accidentally, which wiped out everything in the database. That is the reason why our site has lacked a shop, and one of the main reasons why we haven't updated the site for a while. Re-entering data takes a long time.

But, most of that work is now complete and it will not be long before our online shop is functioning, and our website gets more attention.

If you have been in to Knitters' World over the last few weeks you'll have noticed some significant changes to the inside of the shop. 

Some of these changes include additional areas to display even more of the wools and yarns you are asking for.

Another change is the inclusion of a seating area (still under construction) for our customers to come and browse at leisure, or to simply bring along some knitting and have a chat in our shop. We are also considering offering an extra feature for this, but more details will follow once a few practicalities have been worked out.

We still have some big changes on the way, but you will have to come and visit to find out what.
