3rd March 2009:
The Knitting Group, held at our shop, on St. Thomas Street, Scarborough has proven to be very successful. As a result we have decided to hold a second group on Sundays. If you are a seasoned knitter or just wanting to learn, we look forward to seeing you there. We provide the tea, coffee and biscuits, and all you have to do is come along with your knitting.

If you want to come along to our Thursday evening or Sunday afternoon groups, but have a problem with transport, drop us a line, and we will do our best to help.

Are you a knitter that is interested in joining our group?, or do you know someone that might be? If so, get in touch with us by clicking here.

Do you have any suggestions? Would you like to come to a group on a night other than Thursday or Sunday? Drop us a line by clicking here.

13th November 2008:
The Knitting Group, held at our shop, on St. Thomas Street, Scarborough is certainly proving to be a success with our customers. We now have a regular group of attendees, some of whom even bring cakes to share with other knitters. Obviously we still provide the tea, coffee and biscuits, but the cakes make a great addition.

Several of the knitters are beginners, or just getting back into knitting, whilst the rest are experienced ladies who know a thing or two about yarns.

Our knitting group is proving to be so successful that we are considering holding additional sessions. Do you have any suggestions? Would you like to come to a group on a night other than Thursday? Drop us a line by clicking here.

13th October 2008:
Some of our regular customers are already aware that we are going to be holding a knitting group on a Thursday evening. But, we thought that we would publicise it to the wider world too, by putting details here on our site.

Every Thursday between the hours of 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm is when we will hold our groups.

All ages are welcome to come along, and the only requirement that you need to fulfil is to bring your own mug. That's right, you did read that correctly - your own mug. We provide the tea and coffee, sometimes we will provide biscuits too.

The main aim of the group is to get people together to share their knitting skills, experiences, tips, and of course to show off your latest project. Or if you simply want to come along to learn how to knit, then this is certainly the place for you.

The biggest bonus that we felt we could give you (aside from the free tea and coffee) is that entry is free! We will not charge you for coming along or having a mug of coffee.... of course you must remember to bring a mug with you.

The atmosphere of our shop is, we think, a very friendly one, where all are welcome, no matter what their experience level. As such, we hope to develop the same warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere with our knitting groups. So, if you feel you have something to offer other knitters, or you just want to come along for a natter to like minded people, drop by.

One word of warning though, we do expect our knitting groups to be very busy, so please do not be offended if there isn't enough room to accommodate every one. You would be more than welcome to come back on another night, or we could even be tempted to extend the group so that it meets more than once a week.
